Cooking With Lisa Childs

Instant Pot recipes are something that have been a huge hit within the last few years. I don’t have an instant pot but it is definitely on my wish list.

An instant pot is a multi function cooker where you are able to prepare and cook food in different ways, all in one device.

The most common instant pot is the 6 quart, 7-in-1 programmable pressure cooker. It includes the following: a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, saute/browning feature, yogurt maker, a steamer, and a warmer feature. With an electronic control panel, you are able to use additional features including delaying cooking time up to 24 hours, and a manual setting up to 120 minutes of cook time. This instant pot is also highly energy efficient, kitchen friendly, and includes ten proven safety mechanisms.

You can buy this exact instant pot off of Amazon for 30% right now! Go check it out!

One day, when I am not living off of a college budget, I will treat myself to my very own instant pot. But for now, I just have to keep it on my wish list.

Lisa Childs, an instant pot expert, is my all-time favorite food blogger. I had come across her Instagram within the last year or so, and she is so relatable, down to earth, and inspiring. And I don’t even have an instant pot! Every time I see her posts, she tempts me to just bite the bullet and buy myself an instant pot. But, she is able to break everything down in such a way that you can easily follow and understand what you need to do.

Her recipes and posts are real, and she cues you in to her life as a food blogger. As a follower, this really inspires me to just try it. And sometimes in the cooking world, that can be a little intimidating.

Anyways, go check her out on social media. She’s on different platforms including, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest! She recently also did a segment with ABC4.
